Solar Power Political Action Committee - Donations for Net Metering Defense
We applaud Gov. DeSantis for standing up for Florida's solar workers and vetoing HB 741. The rooftop solar industry supports more than 40,000 Florida jobs and Gov. Desantis' decision to veto this bill will allow our industry to continue to provide more homeowners with the opportunity to lower their electric bills with solar. Every Florida family should have the opportunity to take control of their electric bills with rooftop solar.“The rooftop solar industry employs more than 9,000 Floridians and gives every Florida resident the freedom to choose how they generate and use electricity. Governor DeSantis understands the value of solar as an economic engine and a powerful tool for energy independence here in the Sunshine State. His decision to veto this bill will allow our industry to continue growing and give more homeowners in our state the chance to lower their electric bills with solar.” - Justin Vandenbroeck, President of the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association.Thank you to the contractors, manufacturers, distributors and individuals who supported FlaSEIA in the fight to save solar jobs in Florida. Your advocacy on behalf of the solar industry provided FlaSEIA the opportunity to effectively engage in the legislative process. You made a difference and helped us achieve the best outcome possible.
The fight is not over. Please support the Solar Power PAC so we can continue to keep solar jobs in Florida!
